Having explored a rich tapestry of genres, from Classical and Jazz to Blues, Funk, Rock, R&B, and Pop, Whitney's versatility speaks for itself. After earning a Bachelor in Music from Berklee College of Music in Boston, Whitney's exceptional talent led her to become the first female bandleader with a residency at Boston’s legendary Wally’s Jazz Cafe. She has since toured as a background vocalist for the renowned Dance music star, CeCe Peniston and co-wrote the Billboard #2 hit “Purple Funk” with Mothers Favorite Child. Whitney’s vocal artistry extended to opening for R&B crooner, Carl Thomas, sharing the stage with members of the R&B group Next and Blackstreet, as well as supporting R&B star Adina Howard in TVOne’s Unsung.
